MLB Mobile Premium Offered on the Palm Pre

Palm Pre users are finally starting to get all the great apps! With the recent announcement of the NFL Mobile Live app to come preloaded on the Palm Pre soon, similar that annoying Nascar app that we all want to remove from our phones but cannot.

Well it was announced the other day that Pre users will now be able to get MLB Mobile Premium on their phones via a Web app, which is a bit odd but hey it works! I am a die hard baseball fan and will be trying this out today.

The cost is $14.99 per season or $2.99 per month. And you get the following features:

• MLB.com Mobile Gameday Audio - Listen to live audio broadcasts of every Major League Baseball game through the final out of the 2009 World Series. Each game will offer the choice of listening to the home or away broadcasts without any blackout restrictions.
• MLB.com Gameday - Follow every pitch of every game with a detailed graphic presentation and live statistics.
• In-Game Video Highlights - Get real-time, high quality video highlights delivered directly to the smart phone quickly after the play happens on the field.
• Expanded scoreboard - View live statistical data from every MLB game, including line scores, current runners on base and other game details.
