Palm Pre Reviews Roundup

Everybody and their Mom has a Palm Pre review on their site, so I thought that it would be useful to point out a few of the best ones. I hope that this will save shoppers some time as they could easily get lost in the sea of reviews out there.

First up is one of my favorite sites, Engadget. They always do great reviews and are sure to contain alot of info, pictures, and video which is the best part! Their review is so lengthy that its broken down into four posts. Overall they gave a favorable review to the Palm Pre.

Palm Pre Running YouTube Next To iPhone

People are of course claiming shenanigans but it makes sense that Sprint will be loading the Palm Pre Phone with some of their current software. In fact they have said that they would. Ans Sprint DOES already have a YouTube app that comes loaded on the Treo Pro. I was also thinking that the Palm OS emulator that the Pre will have could have been the culprit here. But I think that it makes more sense that its a direct app for the Web OS from Sprint.

So I received a promotional email from Sprint regarding the Pre today and clicked through to the landing page. The page has some great social media integrations like a link to the Twitter search page for the Palm Pre and embedded YouTube videos. One video in particular that I really liked was this one:

The thing that I liked about this video was the review of some of the apps designed for the Pre using the new WebOS. They have a fantastic Fandango app that fully syncs up with the Pre. It automatically pulls your location via GPS in your phone and shows you movies close to you. If you purchase tickets throught the app it automatically adds the showtime to your calendar!
